What is Boxybots?
In 2010, I started this brand as a passion project that lived at the intersection of three things I love - design, creating community, and music.

In the beginning, I loved it. I hustled hard and could be seen with a folding table and red robot, slinging tees at just about every electronic music event in Charlotte. The brand grew rapidly from 2010 to 2013 and became known and respected in the community and seen at shows and festivals around the US.

As time went on, the streetwear industry became more competitive. It got harder to make a living and I started to feel burned out by the grind of selling 4 to 5 nights a week. In 2015, I decided to go on a hiatus. I took a role in corporate America to make a steady paycheck, recover from burnout, and focus on my growing family.

A few years later in 2017, I rebranded Billionaires to Boxybots. I attempted to reinvigorate the brand while working a day job, but it became very clear that I needed to keep it on the back burner to protect my family and mental health.

Over the years, I've received so many requests to re-release old designs. I've mostly laughed it off, but I've continually had this gnawing thought in my mind. So after close to a decade, I've decided to re-release some of the most popular designs. I'm taking it slow and only releasing a few designs at a time. Who knows, maybe I'll drop some previously unreleased designs and some new stuff too.

Shout out to all the folks who have supported this brand over the years! I wouldn't be where I am now without you.

Onward & upward,

Drew Burdick

P.s. Here's a quick flashback to our 4-year anniversary in 2014.
